This is the best looking item in my kitchen and is a great product all round. It has a good capacity for smoothies or soups and is very well built. it has non slip feet and feels very sturdy, everything fits together with a satisfying click. Its dishwasher safe so cleaning is a breeze. I may buy more from this range.

This is by some distance the best blender - out of four - that I've owned. It looks smart, is easy to use and is, by the usual standards, reasonably quiet (although don't expect a discreet hum!). I've made some sauces, soups and smoothies with it so far, and they've all been very satisfactory. A stylish, sturdy and effective kitchen gadget.

This is useful. A blender that is so easy to use even I'm allowed to have a go. Chuck in your fruit, put the lid on and turn the big dial to position `1' until everything has been mashed up into liquid form. If you use any slightly heavier ingredients (particularly ice), then position `2' comes into play. There is a third dial position, that of `pulse', which is used for a short high-speed burst. This position has a spring so will turn itself off when you release the dial. That's all there is to it!

However, before all that you have to ensure the jug is clicked into place, otherwise it won't work. Turn it clockwise until it does and you're ready. The handy thing about this blender is that to remove the jug, you need only turn it anti-clockwise and it lifts itself from the base. The lid itself has a good solid rubber seal that makes it harder to remove than you'd imagine (which is a good thing, as you don't want it working loose when being used). Okay, you can remove the lid to fill the jug initially, but to add anything else, there's a cap in the lid; just remember to put it back, otherwise you'll spend ages cleaning your walls. Ah, the lid. Whilst the jug has the obvious spout and the lid follows this shape, at the rear there is a small cutaway with a strainer. If you turn the lid around the contents can be poured through catching any loose `bits' if you so choose. As the second setting is rather powerful, three suction pads on the base will stop it from dancing off your worktop, or wherever it's used.

The glass of the jug is a decent thickness and I like the red and black colour. The power button is nice and big and it's all very stylish making it look more expensive than it is. I think this is going to see a lot of use.

Quite tasty coffee from a neat little machine.

The coffee it produces isn't very hot which may disappoint some and you'll soon find senseo pods aren't well stocked in many shops.

I highly HIGHLY advise you purchase an Eco Pad. Eco Pad's are small plastic pods which you can fill with whatever coffee you like. They're about £3 and last ages. I just bought a pair and I really think they should come with the Senseo machine, as they are "must have". A site called Coffeo does them as well as some other sites.

After reading reviews for various coffee pod machines I was apprehensive about spending £50+ for something, once the novelty had worn off that would clutter up a shelf. With the Senseo coming in at £25 it was cheap enough to take the plunge. I must say I am delighted with the machine. The coffee is hot and different combinations of pod/pods, 1-cup 2-cup can be used to get a strength to suit most people. The greatest asset is the simplicity of this machine. No jugs and filters to clean and a start and finish time of about 90 secs for a mug of coffee. This plus supermarkets are producing their own pods which work in the Senseo makes this an excellent buy.

I bought one of these machines after visiting my friend in Germany who has one and thinking the coffee it made was great.
Reading the other reviews on here the only thing I can add of any use is make sure you put the milk in the cup and stick it in the microwave for 20 seconds then make the coffee, this affects the final taste of the coffee and also stops the final result being maybe not hot enough for some people if you use milk.
Also, my German friend went through a lot of different pods before settling on a real good one, I don't think you can get them here but they come in little black/bronze coloured tubes with about 20 pods in, 'Amaroy Premium Kaffe Pads - Unser Bester', maybe Aldi do them, not sure. They are so cheap over there compared to here (£1 for 20 pads) that I will be bringing a box back on my next visit!!
In the meantime the Tesco's finest range of pods are excellent albeit a bit expensive, can't speak for the Dowe Egberts ones as I've never tried them.

Cleaning the machine couldn't be easier, rinse the pod holder under the tap and then give the dispenser a rinse, takes about 10 seconds if that.

I give it 5 stars for ease of use and once you find a coffee you are happy with it simply makes great coffee.
